GKS – the Entrepreneur
In 1986, with the vision to make the teaching of the fledgling science of electronics interactive & meaningful to students, GKS came up with the idea of developing Demonstrative Teaching Aids. His academic mind guided him to develop the Trainer Kits at FLORANIX which came to be hailed as ‘Portable Electronics Labs’. They were so well received that Floranix started catering to micro electronics labs in Arts & Science colleges scaling up to the Anna University.
There has been no turning back since then, as his creative mind set about developing more equipment, based on need and demand. Reliability was the benchmark of the designs, not so much the profitability. That some kits are being used for 3 decades, stand witness to this fact.
The appreciation and tributes he gets from staff and students alike, spurs him on, in his mission of ‘making electronics easy’.
